Parents and Community of 27J,

School District 27J continues to work expeditiously to complete 8 construction projects around the School District.  Please continue reading for individual project updates and photos.

Brantner Elementary:

• Building under construction: Tilt-up Panels (concrete walls / forms) erected
• Request for Quotation / Request for Procurement of classroom furniture

High School # 3:

• Design development documents at 100% to be complete by first week of April
• Design review meetings with district staff continue
• Working on oil well decommissioning
• Annexation process with City of Thornton continues

Elementary School # 12:

• Design development documents are complete
• General contractor has been selected - FCI Constructors
• FCI working with architect on construction cost estimate
• Coordination conversations with Reunion Metro District
• Open House - April 25th 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Reunion Rec Center

Brighton Heritage Academy:

• Architect firm has been selected - Yon Tanner Architects
• 50% construction drawings completed
• Bid documents ready to hire abatement subcontractor by mid-March
• Initial meeting with Colorado Historical Society and Brighton Historic District once architect firm has been selected
• Meeting with window consultant and installers to discuss lead times
• Request for Quotation / Request for Procurement issued for selection of a general contractor
